Pastors Bio

I grew up in the Westmont UMC where I had been a member of the UMC since 1969. In 2002 I transferred to Zion Community Church in Clarksboro, N.J. where I’ve served in a
number of capacities until my first appointment in 2006.

At Zion I served as assistant to Pastor Richard Workman. My duties included liturgist, occasional preaching, Sunday school teacher, and working with the youth. I was also given an opportunity to get the Men’s group up and running, develop a weekly coffeehouse, serving as a trustee, create a new website, and starting a Christ centered addictions recovery program.

While my call to a pastoral ministry came later in my life, I am certain God has prepared me for this call. I completed Local Pastors Licensing School at Drew University in July 2004, and am currently in Course of Study. I am continually humbled and awed that God should choose to use me in this capacity; and am convinced that the Spirit has prepared both this congregation and me to do His work here in our community.
